Cassandra Wagner (formerly Cassandra Crane) grew up in a small apartment with her mom, sister, and brother. She often envisioned the house they would one day have—never knowing she would go on to envision and create homes for so many others.
Early on she picked up a pencil and drew her brother and surprised her family. She drew really well. She had this very keen attention to detail. She practiced drawing everything she saw, a tea pot, a chair, her mom. She even drew things she saw in her dreams. "Before I even knew what design and architecture were I was having dreams of unique spaces, and then trying to draw them when I woke up. I remember feeling excited and thinking I need this dream space to come to life." said Cassandra. During college she signed up for interior design 101 and it just clicked, the whole while she was already dreaming of starting her own design firm. After college she worked alongside some of the best local designers and remodelers. She’s since combined her eye for design with a deep understanding of remodeling to build Crane Interiors.
More than it being Cassandra's maiden name, the crane is our inspiration. Cranes are powerful symbols of peace, good fortune, longevity, and loyalty. Even still, they are most know for their grace and elegance.
When we guide people through their home design and build we do it with grace and dignity. Each space we create is harmonious and balanced. Much like the crane there is a common thread of elegance.
